Gallery: African/Asian Wildlife Series
Shortly after graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in Conservation Biology, I decided to actively pursue interpretive art as a means of exposing people to the rich North American biodiversity. Even though it had been many years since I had last worked as an artist, I found my interest in creative expression of nature was rekindled through exposure to the great biologists, poets and artists that shaped modern art ecology. Aldo Leopold, George Catlin, John James Audubon, the Group of Seven and Robert Bateman are just a few of the naturalists who have inspired my passion for art and the power of this medium.
Wildlife conservation is something that needs to be approached from every possible angle. It is my desire to capture the innate essence of each species depicted, with the hope that the viewer will develop a better ecological awareness and a greater appreciation of biodiversity.
Sincerely C Paige Bozarth
